Rajan Shahi’s popular show Anupamaa has been entertaining viewers with its storyline and plot. The show has been winning hearts for decades now and makers are leaving no stone unturned in adding high-voltage drama in their upcoming episodes. Raahi and Prem, played by Adrija Roy and Shivam Khajuria got married and Moti Baa and Parag are all set to ruin their happiness. Fans are now eagerly waiting for unexpected twists and it seems as if makers have surprises for them in their upcoming episodes. Actor Manish Goel is currently seen playing the role of Raghav in the show.
In an interview with India Forums, Manish spoke about his role and said, “I can’t reveal much about my character. I want to keep the mystery and suspense alive for the audience.” The actor also spoke about fans comparing his look to Anuj Kapadia aka Gaurav Khanna. He further continued saying, “I have seen a lot of comments about it. People are comparing me to Anuj, but the show is special because of all the characters and actors who have been part of it. The look is decided by the channel, creatives, and producer, and I will follow that. However, as an actor, my focus is on making each scene impactful. Every character in the show holds sentimental value for the audience.”
Manish further spoke about his thoughts on competition and said, “I love competition. I don’t mind being compared to Vanraj, Anupamaa, or Anuj. I want to create my own identity in the show. After Anuj or Vanraj, I want the audience to look forward to my character and even miss me when I’m not there—even if it’s just for an episode or a scene. Expectations are high, and I will do my best to meet them.”
On the work front, Manish was seen in shows like Just Mohabbat, CID, Ghar Ek Mandir, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and Mehndi Tere Naam Ki. Talking about Anupamaa’s latest promo, Anu is seen playing Holi with jail inmates, when Raghav sees her. He comes closer to her and she gets scared. Raghav is about to fall and Anupamaa holds his hand. She sees his palm injured and applies medicine to it. Raghav also allows her to care for his injury and fans notice an unexpected bond forming between them. Netizens are not sure if Raghav will be the new man in Anupamaa’s life after Anuj? Has Anuj Kapadia’s story ended and he will not return to the show? Will Anupamaa and Raghav fall for each other?
