Sachet-Parampara demand public apology from Amaal Malik over…; know full controversy

The famous musical duo Sachet-Parampara have started a huge wave of debate online after they “exposed” Bigg Boss 19 contestant Amaal Mallik. They have accused Amaal of sharing “false and baseless” statements over their hit song from 2019, Bekhayali. For the unversed, Bekhayali is a beloved song from the blockbuster film Kabir Singh. The duo, well known for their songs like Har Har Mahadev and Maiyya Mainu, shared a video on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Warning. This video could have been a 10-second proof to shut down all rumors, but exposing some people became important for our mental peace. @amaal_mallik SHAME ON YOU, AMAAL MALIK.”

What did they say in the video?

They started the video by saying, “Hello everyone, our names are Sachet and Parampara, and we’re here to discuss something that has grown quite serious. This concerns Mr. Amaal Mallik. Actually, we never expected to have to clarify all of this, but it is something we made entirely. We’re talking about Bekhayali, which Amaal Mallik claims he created some time ago.”
The duo explained that their composition was “entirely original” and was in fact made with collaborative sessions that included Shahid Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Was there favouritism at play?

They continued to dismiss the claim that industry favoritism might have been a factor. They explained that they had no prior connection to T-Series before Kabir Singh, but Amaal had been working with the company since 2015. Then they responded to Amaal’s claim that someone had shared his song with them over WhatsApp. They questioned why anyone would do any favors for industry “outsiders.”
They shared screenshots of Amaal complimenting them for their work and even explained that they did not even have his number at first. They explained that Amaal was the one who reached out to them.
