Hrithik Roshan’s fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the much-awaited Krrish 4. It has been years since director Rakesh Roshan confirmed that they are planning to make another movie in the superhero franchise. However, it has been quite a long time since there have been any big updates confirming that Krsish 4 is definitely happening. Some time ago, Rakesh had revealed that he would not be directing the movie. In a recent interview, he has revealed why he has opted out of the project.
In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh said, “It’s better I do it when I am in my senses, so that I can overlook the process as well and ascertain whether he’s doing it correctly or not. Tomorrow, if I am not in my senses and I’ll have to pass it on, I will not know what they are making.”
Amidst all this, there is another update suggesting that Siddharth Anand’s production banner, Marflix, has decided to opt out of Krrish 4 mainly because of the high budget for the superhero film. According to the report, the movie had an enormous budget of Rs 700 crores, which Siddharth is being hesitant to commit to. However, a latest report by India Today mentions that the claims that a high budget is the reason for Siddharth to back out of the movie are not true.
A source informed, “Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan had a closed-door meeting and have now decided to speak to studios all across India personally and lock a lucrative deal for the film. Krrish 4 will now be produced by FilmKraft with a leading studio, whereas Marflix will focus on other projects outside of Krrish.”
Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand will be busy with Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed King, which is all set to go on floors this June. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma.
