Hina Khan is battling cancer and her stories serve as an inspiration to many who are struggling with their hurdles in life. People are looking up to Hina for her insurmountable strength. A while back, Hina found herself in the midst of a controversy when an actress and cancer survivor, Rozlyn Khan, publicly accused Hina of lying about the gravity of her illness.
The news became a social media sensation when she shared Hina’s PET scan reports, alleging that Hina had stage 2 breast cancer and not stage 3 as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had claimed. She even criticised Hina for spreading lies and misinformation about her diseases.
Rozlyn has again taken a potshot at Hina and it only makes their ongoing argument worse. On March 17, Rozlyn Khan shared on Instagram story, “Don’t raise your voice against a lie, or you will be trolled, abused, and insulted..! Shhh groupism…! In ka cancer hi khatam nahi ho raha, din raat buss ek hi news hai 9 months se..! Koi hai to bhai iss ko ‘Padma Shree’ de do ‘duniya ka sabse bada cancer’ pe to media rahat ki saans le aur kuch aur kaam kare..! Really sorry for paps..!”
That’s surely a nasty comment but Hina has refused to indulge or pay any heed to Rozlyn’s comments about the former’s health condition. At a recent award show’s red carpet, Hina had said, “My chemos are over, my surgery is also over, I am on other treatment right now. I am taking my immunotherapies, and everything is going good.”
Hina has been recording her entire journey and how she is battling cancer on Instagram. Her fans have been praying for her speedy recovery. She recently shared her experience about how she performed Umrah just three and a half months after her surgery. Sharing her experience, Hina wrote, “I did not even dream to come here just after three and a half months of my surgery. I have uncountable sutures, limiting physical strength, and an expected amount of fatigue during recovery. Many reasons for me to not come here, many reasons to not even dream of being able to touch the Kaaba Sharif.”
She had also added, “I was extremely sad, to be honest, but I kind of made peace with it – ki iss baar nahi hoga (it won’t happen this time). Aur Hina, tum koi stunt nahi karogi (you won’t pull a stunt). But when God wants you to come to His house, the universe listens. And it just happened. It was His wish that I got to touch the Holy Kaaba too.”
