Park Shin-hye has welcomed her second child with her actor husband Choi Tae-joon.
According to South Korean media, the 36-year-old actress’ agency, Salt Entertainment, announced she had given birth to a daughter today (Sept 22).
“Both mother and baby are currently in good health. Shin-hye is resting and recovering amidst the love and care of her family,” stated the agency.
“We sincerely thank everyone who has offered their heartfelt congratulations and kindly ask for warm blessings and support for this new life.”
Shin-hye, who debuted as a child actress, married Tae-joon in January 2022 after dating for close to five years. They welcomed their first child, a son, in May that same year.
She returned to television screens in 2024 with rom-com drama Doctor Slump as well as fantasy-thriller series The Judge from Hell, and was last seen in workplace comedy series Undercover Miss Hong (2026).
Shin-hye announced her second pregnancy in April through her management agency.
In June, she was seen arriving at Changi Airport with 35-year-old Tae-joon, together with their son, while pregnant.
Later, they were spotted enjoying their vacation aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship.
Celebrity couple Bae Yong-joon and Park Soo-jin, together with their two children, also joined them on the trip.
