Parenthood star Sarah Ramos is expecting her first baby with her husband Matt Spicer, 41.
The 34-year-old actress made her pregnancy announcement on Monday via Instagram as she posted photos from her puppy-themed baby shower.
According to Spicer’s sister, Ramos is pregnant with a baby boy.
Ramos gave a first glimpse at her baby bump while posing in a white ruffled crop top and low-rise pants in front of a display of colorful balloons.
She captioned the post, ‘Surprise! If you’re not surprised I’m pregnant, act like it!’
Ramos hilariously admitted that she had ‘no good photos with the father of [her] child’ from the shower.

Instead, she posted snaps of herself and shower guests holding puppies available for adoption through The Labelle Foundation, who she called her ‘guests of honor.’
One snap featured Ramos’s close friend, writer Caroline Goldfarb, who is also a fellow expectant mother.
Ramos included a close-up photo of a cake covered in sprinkles and with ‘Baby Spice,’ referring to her husband’s surname, written out in cake pieces.
Ramos’s husband Spicer also took to social media to celebrate their baby news.
He reposted Ramos’s baby bump photo to his Instagram Story alongside JoJo’s hit song, Baby It’s You.
He had previously shared an Instagram Story of his upcoming film, and referencing that, he wrote over the image of his wife’s baby bump: ‘Also coming soon.’
Spicer added emojis of a baby bottle and an angel as he joined his wife in celebrating their family growing.
The couple have been married since 2020 and eloped in Las Vegas with an Elvis impersonator as their officiant.

Spicer’s sister Joanna also shared Instagram Story posts from the couple’s baby shower, showing off the treats and puppies being the major hit at the party.
Joanna also revealed that her brother and sister-in-law are expecting a baby boy as she wrote in a post: ‘My nephew is in there!’
She also shared that her ‘other brother just had a baby’ and said she is ‘about to be absolutely swimming in nephews.’
In response to Ramos’s baby shower post, a slew of fans and fellow stars took to the comments section to congratulate the parents-to-be.
Busy Philipps left emojis with heart eyes and commented: ‘congratulations!’
Pauline Chalamet wrote: ‘PHOTO THREE MAKES ME SO HAPPY.’ She followed up with a separate comment and added: ‘also… i am surprised!!!!!’

Ramos famously starred on the hit NBC series Parenthood. She was part of the main cast in the show’s first three seasons, with the first premiering in 2010.
