Haters’ lips are movin’ — and Meghan Trainor isn’t bothered.

The singer hit back at anyone criticizing her “valid” choice to welcome her third child, daughter Mikey, via surrogate over the weekend.

“Surrogacy is just another beautiful way to build a family,” the Grammy winner, 32, told People on Wednesday. “It’s not something to whisper about or judge.”

She added, “It’s rooted in trust, science, love, and teamwork. Every family’s journey looks different, and all of them are extremely valid.”

The pop star noted using a gestational carrier was not the “first choice” for herself and husband Daryl Sabara, who are also the parents of sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.

“We had endless conversations with our doctors on this journey, and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family,” the “forever grateful” songwriter shared with the outlet.

Trainor went on to thank her “selfless, strong and loving” surrogate.

She gushed, “We felt so connected throughout the entire journey, and I’ll always be grateful for the care and love she showed our daughter. She gave us the greatest gift of our lives. She graciously answered our many check-in texts to make sure she was doing OK.”

On Tuesday, the “Beauty” star posted hospital photos with her newest family member via Instagram.

“Jan. 18, 2026. Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” she wrote, raving over how “over the moon in love” her sons are with their “precious” sister.

“Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name,” Trainor explained. “We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all🩷🥹🎀.”

Trainor and Sabara, 33, became parents in February 2021 when Riley arrived, followed by Barry in July 2023.

The actress had a “terrifying” first birth, writing in her 2023 “Dear Mama” book that she suffered PTSD from her C-section.

While carrying baby No. 2, Trainor developed gestational diabetes, which inspired her recent weight-loss journey.

She “worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!),” to slim down, Trainor explained via Instagram in April 2025.

Sabara admitted later that same month he also takes the weight-loss drug since the couple “do everything together.”

The duo, who infamously go to the bathroom on adjacent toilets, have been together since 2016, getting engaged the following year and tying the knot in 2018.
