Keanu Reeves and longtime girlfriend Alexandra Grant effortlessly stole the spotlight at the Hollywood premiere of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Monday night.

The 59-year-old John Wick star and his 54-year-old partner, an accomplished visual artist, looked every bit the glamorous couple as they dazzled on the red carpet at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre.

Keanu, who joins the Sonic cast as Sonic’s nemesis Shadow, cut a dashing figure in a dark suit, exuding effortless charm as he stood close to Alexandra, who shimmered in a stunning black and silver metallic ensemble.

Completing her look with a matching silver clutch, she paused to gaze lovingly at her matinee idol boyfriend, resting her head against his in a sweet, intimate moment.

The pair, last spotted sharing a rare lunch date at Scott’s in London, looked like teenagers in love—holding hands and glowing with joy as they soaked in the moment.

Their presence led a star-studded lineup at the event, which also included Kristen Ritter, Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, and more.

The event comes on the heels of a fun getaway for the couple to the MotoGP Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix in Germany this past July.

The MotoGP event was a perfect date choice for the couple, given that Keanu founded his own custom motorcycle company, ARCH Motorcycle, in 2011.

In May, the couple’s social calendar included a stylish outing at the Hammer Museum’s Gala in the Garden, where they dressed to impress.

They were also spotted enjoying a dinner together at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, later that month.

Keanu and Alexandra went public with their relationship in November 2019, when they graced the red carpet together at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.

The revelation sparked significant interest, with the artist mentioning a flood of inquiries about the romance from all corners.

‘I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating,’ she told British Vogue a few months later.

The couple, who run a publishing house called X Artists’ Books together, have been close friends for decades.

While the exact moment of their meeting remains uncertain, the relationship traces back to at least 2011, coinciding with the publication of their book, Ode to Happiness.

Reeves has built a devoted following over his nearly four-decade career, notably for his memorable depiction of a hitman in the hugely popular John Wick franchise.

Before John Wick, he achieved renown for his portrayal of Neo in the groundbreaking Matrix series, spanning releases in 1999, 2003, 2002, and a recent installment in 2021.

Meanwhile, the Sonic 3 premiere follows a lighthearted comment from star Jim Carrey, who joked about why he decided to reprise his role.

The 62-year-old actor, who used to command a cool $20 million for films like The Cable Guy in 1996, now admits that his return to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise has more to do with balancing his checkbook than sheer passion.

Carrey enjoyed a legendary run with hits like Liar Liar, The Truman Show, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Bruce Almighty, but his star began to dim in the late 2000s.

Despite once having an estimated net worth of $300 million, Carrey still needs to make sure the bills get paid — which is why he’s come out of ‘retirement.’

‘I came back to this universe ’cause, first of all, I get to play a genius, which is a bit of a stretch, and it’s just… it’s just… I bought a lot of stuff and I need the money, frankly,’ he quipped on the red carpet of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s London premiere on Monday.

But don’t be fooled into thinking it’s entirely about the paycheck.

Carrey was quick to add, ‘At the same time, it had heart, and that’s why I did it the first time. There was something beautiful about the heart of the piece.’

Of course, he couldn’t resist throwing in his signature humor, concluding, ‘I hope it will bring families together and cure several diseases.’

The Sonic movie franchise has brought in over $725 million worldwide.
