However, not many know that one of the members of the family is not a part of the entertainment world.
Meet Shammi Kapoor’s son who left acting to be a teacher
The Kapoors have ruled the Bollywood industry but academics have never been a strength of the members of the family. They have had many superstars but there is only one who is a graduate. We are talking about legendary actor Shammi Kapoor’s son, Aditya Raj Kapoor.
He is the only man from the Kapoor family who has finished his higher studies. But, even he did this at the age of 67. He became one of the oldest graduates in India when he got his degree in Philosophy from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in Philosophy via correspondence.
He has now become a teacher. He is Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali’s son. After his schooling, he was assisting his uncle Raj on Bobby. He did a role in Dharam Karam and Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Later, he distanced himself from films to do business. He once again came back to acting in 2010 and did a movie titled Chase.
He also did a TV show titled Everest in 2014. He then left acting for academics just before the pandemic and now has completed his graduation.
