Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez glammed up in body-hugging space suits ahead of their rocket launch with an all-woman crew.
The “Dark Horse” songstress and the philanthropist posed via Instagram Saturday in blue monogrammed suits alongside aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, journalist Gayle King, producer Kerianne Flynn and activist Amanda Nguyen.
“Happy International Day of Human Space Flight 🚀 Forever in awe of the Universe and it’s [sic] alignment ✨,” Perry captioned the post.
The pop star, 40, and Sánchez, 55, plan on pulling out all the glam stops for their Blue Origin’s NS-31 flight on Monday.
“Who would not get glam before the flight?!” Sánchez told Elle during an interview with her crew earlier this month.
She quipped that there would be “lash extensions flying in the capsule.”
The children’s book author explained that she doesn’t have to worry about her lashes defying gravity, adding, “Mine are glued on. They’re good.”
“Space is going to finally be glam,” Perry added.
“Let me tell you something. If I could take glam up with me, I would do that,” the “E.T.” singer shared.
“We are going to put the ‘ass’ in astronaut,” she joked.
Bowe, 38, explained that she had thoroughly planned her rocket launch look and did a test run on her hair to “make sure” it would be OK.
“I skydived in Dubai with similar hair to make sure I would be good — took it for a dry run,” she said.
Nguyen, 33, chimed in that people need to see them with a full face of makeup.
“This dichotomy of engineer and scientist, and then beauty and fashion. We contain multitudes,” she explained.
“Women are multitudes. I’m going to be wearing lipstick.”
The Blue Origin’s NS-31 flight will mark the first time women have journeyed into space since 1963 when Russian astronaut Valentina Tereshkova took a solo trip.
