It is that time of the year again when the red carpet is getting ready to be rolled out for the 23rd Zee Cine Awards 2025. To be held in Mumbai on 17th May, 2025, the event promises to be bigger and better. The media and fans got a glimpse of what to expect from the awards night, at the press conference held in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Stars like Kartik Aaryan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vaani Kapoor and others regaled fans and media with their little gigs and also shared a few details giving a hint into what is in store.
Kartik Aaryan grooved to his popular chartbuster Hare Ram from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with a little kiddie fan joining him on the stage. The actor, who proudly calls himself a fan made star, expressed his excitement about fans getting a chance to be a part of the awards show. He also promised that this little groove was just a glimpse, “I will be performing on the Zee Cine stage and will do my best to give fans something exciting.” The young superstar also unveiled the newly designed Zee Cine Awards trophy at the event.
Tamannaah Bhatia who is also set to perform at the awards ceremony in May, thanked singer Shilpa Rao, who was also present at the press conference, for giving her voice to the song Kaavaalaa. She also thanked Sachin-Jigar for the iconic number Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 that made her a sensation in 2024.
Vaani Kapoor also graced the Zee Cine Awards press conference and expressed how she was delighted that fans are a part of the awards this time. “This is a great opportunity for us to give back the love to our fans. Everytime I feel my world is crumbling, I read a DM from a fan or a comment that they have posted under my picture and it picks me up. They are like our extended family and the theme and the new initiative to make that aspect part of the Zee Cine Awards 2025 trophy is truly special.”
Jacqueline Fernandez who has been away from the media glare since sometime, was delighted to be part of the Zee Cine Awards 2025 ceremony and expressed her excitement to be back on the stage. The actress will be performing on some of her most popular dance numbers at the grand event on May 17.
The press conference ended with an entertaining performance by Sachin Jigar and Shilpa Rao who set the fans crooning and grooving to their tunes.
