Josh Duhamel said he was ‘too old’ for wife Audra Mari as he got surprisingly honest about their 21-year age gap.
The 53-year-old actor – who became the latest celebrity to flee California – opened up about his relationship with the 32-year-old beauty queen.
Duhamel who was previously married to singer Fergie – began dating the former Miss World America Mari in late 2018 as they married in 2022 and have two children together.
Now, the Transformers actor talked about age gaps between himself and his siblings and even brought up how his youngest sister Cassidy was born when he was in college.
He said on an episode of The HoneyDew With Ryan Sickler podcast released on Monday: ‘Kassidy came along and I was playing football at Minot State University.
‘I remember looking up at the stands and I saw my mom and had this bump. And I’m like, “Is my mom pregnant?” I’m 21 years old and she’s having another baby.’

Then just recently, the star realized the connection that has to his now wife Mari.
Duhamel said: ‘There’s a picture of me holding Kassidy as a 21-year-old young man with this little bitty infant.
‘I looked at the photo and I looked at my wife and I said, “You and Kassidy are exactly the same age.”‘
He then went on to address his age gap with his wife.
Duhamel joked: ‘I am officially too old for you. They’re literally like months apart in age. I never looked at it like that until I saw that photo. I was like, “Wait a second.”‘
There have been a lot of big changes for Duhamel, Mari, and family as it was revealed in May that she gave birth to their daughter.
Duhamel shared a joint post to Instagram with Mari at the time as the couple excitedly announced that their baby girl Rocca de Leon Duhamel was welcomed to the world.
It comes after Duhamel and Mari revealed that they were expecting their second child together back in March. The couple are already parents to son Shepherd, two.

The Safe Haven actor also shares son Axl, 13, with Fergie.
Duhamel and Mari uploaded a series of adorable photos of the newborn with the caption: ‘Rocca de Leon Duhamel our baby girl is here.’
In one photo, he could be seen holding the infant in his arms as he sent a happy gaze towards the camera.
Their baby girl was snuggly wrapped in a hospital blanket while a beanie with a bow was placed over her head.
The Ransom Canyon actor and model first confirmed their romance in 2019 and the pair were soon spotted on a number of outings together.
A few years later in January 2022, the lovebirds announced their engagement after Duhamel popped the big question on her 28th birthday.
The pair shared a sweet photo to Instagram as they stood on the sandy shore of a beach with the sun shining down on them.
They held a note out towards the camera which read, ‘Audra Diane Mari Will You Marry Me?’

Later that same year, the pair said ‘I do’ during a ceremony in Fargo, North Dakota.
At the time, the couple were seen at Olivet Lutheran Church and after exchanging vows they jumped into a red vintage convertible as they rode through town.
Duhamel and Mari then stopped by a bar called Duffy’s Tavern to celebrate the nuptials with close friends and family.
However just one day after the wedding, the pair spent time in the emergency room after the actor sustained a back injury on a party bus.
Their son Shepherd was welcomed to the world in January 2024.
A few months later, Duhamel called Mari an ‘amazing’ mother as he shared a sweet Mother’s Day tribute.
‘What an amazing mommy you are to our baby Shepherd and Axl couldn’t ask for a better step mother. We’re beyond blessed to have you in our lives,’ he had written.

‘We’re just very different. She and I just have different views of the world, and that’s okay,’ the actor stated before adding that they share ‘a beautiful son.’
He expressed that the songstress is also ‘a great mom, very kind, very non-confrontational, thank God.’
The actor then explained that they both focus on positive co-parenting for their son while adding that his wife and Fergie also ‘have a great relationship.’
