Danny Boyle‘s forthcoming Rupert Murdoch-focused feature Ink is heading to the big screen before its Netflix launch. The streaming service announced Monday that the film that adapts James Graham’s Tony-winning play is set for theatrical release on Dec. 11 amid the prime awards corridor ahead of the holidays. Ink will begin streaming via Netflix on Jan. 8, 2027, in the U.S. and Latin America. Ink stars Jack O’Connell as late newspaper editor Larry Lamb, with Guy Pearce as media mogul Murdoch. Claire Foy rounds out the cast for the film that centers on Murdoch envisioning a new brand of news as he hires Lamb to run British tabloid The Sun….
