He brought the energy, but not a belt.

Jack Black suffered a hilarious wardrobe malfunction as he made a grand entrance on Monday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

As he was announced by Jimmy Fallon, the actor, 55, rocked down the aisle with a Minecraft-inspired red electric guitar.

He then paused at the band with the prop, energetically “playing” his own instrument before making his way up to Fallon as his black pants slid to his knees.

The Tenacious D rocker seemed completely unfazed by the lack of clothing on his bottom half, hugging a laughing Fallon before hiking the pants back up, swiveling his hips seductively, and performing his signature high karate kick for the cheering audience.

“You bring the heat! You bring the energy!” enthused Fallon as Black took his seat, to which a sweaty Black quipped he “didn’t bring a belt. That’s what I didn’t bring.”

Black is starring in “A Minecraft Movie,” which hits theaters on Friday, and is set to host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend – his first hosting gig on the iconic show since 2005.

The pair discussed Black’s musical contributions to his newest movie, which the “School of Rock” star referred to as “a sprinkling of musical nuggets” and “a big showstopper.”

He also divulged that for the flick’s final song, producers brought in Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, who wrote “I’m Just Ken” from the beloved “Barbie” movie. The trio then “jammed on it [the final song]” and “wrote it together.”

The “Nacho Libre” actor’s pants-free foray into “The Tonight Show” is certainly not his first time blowing off refinement.

In February, fellow comedian Kathy Griffin, who briefly dated the actor in the ‘90s, shared a distasteful habit she allegedly observed in Black.

“One night, I spent the night there, and the next day I’m in the shower,” she said of staying at his apartment in Vermont. “I get off on the bath mat, and I said, ‘I need a shower towel,’ and he goes, ‘You’re standing on it.’”

Despite only having what she called “one bath mat-slash-towel,” Griffin cracked that she “naturally kept sleeping with him.”

Still, there were perks to “dating” [a term she called “very loose”] the star.

“He was the first boyfriend I ever had where other bros thought I was cool because I was dating him,” she said.
