Keeping up with Kim Kardashian’s entertainment career.
The reality star will executive produce an upcoming YA series on Netflix called “Calabasas,” according to Deadline.
The outlet reported Wednesday that the drama was inspired by Via Bleidner’s “If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous By Now: True Stories From Calabasas.”
Showrunner Chris Van Dusen, who also created the first two series of “Bridgerton,” called the project “glamorous, bold, addictive and emotionally-charged show” that will be “escapist, provocative and deeply personal all at once.”
He praised Kardashian and “the whole producing team” — which also includes Emma Roberts — as “smart, supportive and ambitious … creative partners.”
Kardashian and Roberts, 35, previously worked together on “American Horror Story: Delicate.”
While Kardashian has yet to comment on Wednesday’s news, she re-posted three headlines about it via Instagram Stories.
The “Kardashians” star has reportedly been a “driving force” behind “Calabasas,” which will center around an elite private school headmaster’s daughter’s forbidden romance.
Kardashian, notably, grew up in the area and currently lives in Hidden Hills, California, the neighborhood bordering Calabasas.

Since Kardashian is “heavily involved in filming and production for several projects,” she made headlines for temporarily pressing pause on her lawyer aspirations.

The insider explained, “When Kim has her mind made up on something, she gives it her all, and this isn’t something she’s taking lightly. Most people who take the bar exam dedicate months leading up to the test and focus all their energy on preparing. But she is working nonstop as a single mom.”
Kardashian, however, “has no plan on giving up on her dreams.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum passed the California “baby bar” on her fourth attempt in 2021 — but failed the California Bar Exam in 2025.
