“90 Day Fiancé” Season 12 newcomer Josh continues to be one of the most tolerant fiancés the show has ever seen.
In this exclusive preview for Sunday’s new episode, Josh is introduced to two of his fiancée Catie’s friends, with whom she’s been intimate on more than one occasion. During last week’s season premiere, Catie blamed her obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) on wanting to hook up with multiple guys while she’s drunk, despite being in a relationship with Josh.
In the clip, Catie’s friends meet her easygoing British fiancé and marvel at how tolerant he is.
“You roll through the punches way better than I ever could,” one friend tells him.
The other friend tells cameras that Josh is obviously “all in” when it comes to Catie, but is worried she’ll continue to “make big mistakes.”
“Catie can be wild,” he explains. “You know, she’ll drive the crowd, just push everybody to like, you know, let’s all go karaoke. You know, let’s all make out.”
He adds, “And once she’s been drinking a certain amount, I mean, that definitely gets cranked up.”
Later, Catie asks Josh if he was insecure about meeting her two friends, freely admitting that she “banged” them multiple times. Josh replies that as long as Catie wanted to be with him, then he’s fine with it.
But Catie admits she sometimes still thinks about her ex-hookup partners.
“I feel like sometimes … I’ll think about, like, the chemistry I used to have or like a brief thought will cross my mind,” she tells him. “But it’s more of like, oh, I know that didn’t work out.”
Catie previously explained her desire to make out with everyone when she drinks.
“I have intrusive thoughts as part of my OCD,” she told cameras. “When I get drunk, I really want to make out with everyone I know, especially when I’m in a happy mood or in a really insecure bad mood.”
“And that isn’t always exciting for Josh, especially because it’s been a bit more frequent lately.”
She admitted that she didn’t know if she could stop, even after Josh moved to Portland, Oregon, from the UK to be with her.
“I’m worried that this is going to be a hard thing to give up,” she said.
“90 Day Fiancé” airs on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
