Shaken not stirred…. the people’s favourite to be the next James Bond, Henry Cavill was seen out in Spain on Friday, March 21.
Originally from Saint Helier, Jersey, in the Channel Islands, the 41-year-old British actor was spotted enjoying some Spanish hospitality in Galicia. According to El Progresso, he is reportedly enjoying a holiday cruise along the Spanish Atlantic coast. It would appear that when the ship called in at the port of A Coruña, he and his family took the opportunity to do a little exploring.
Does Henry Cavill speak other languages?
He must have felt right at home there because aside from his acting accomplishments, Cavill is rumoured to speak nine different languages and is fluent in four, one of them being Spanish. The other three being English (of course), French and Italian.
Cavill is renowned for his role playing Superman in the DC Extended Universe, as well as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix fantasy series The Witcher. The British actor delighted fans with his visit, first to A Coruña, and then later to Lugo where he dined at the Campos Restaurant. During his time there, he also visited a farm in O Corgo, and posed for many a photo with star-struck fans.

Indeed, Cavill was also spotted with his friends and fiancée Natalie Viscuso in the Plaza de Maria Pita. In fact, it was Viscuso that posted to her social media, where she uploaded a photo in which she demonstrated how windy it was with her hair suffering the brunt of it, and adding a simple “Hi Spain.”
His presence at the Campos Restaurant, in particular, caused quite a stir, and Cavill was gracious enough to pose for photographs, his infectious grin on full display for all to see. More than that, he left what will undoubtedly become a treasured keepsake for the well-known establishment in the walled city.
Henry Cavill leaves his mark on Galicia
Prior to leaving, he signed his autograph with a special dedication in which he wrote: “Thank you for giving me, my friends and my family an experience that we will never forget. We will come back. We will.”
His presence at the restaurant was soon posted to their official Instagram account where they excitedly shared: “Still can’t believe the visit from Henry Cavill, friends and family. I hope he fulfils his promise that he will come back. So he will do it. Thank you for choosing us.”
It would seem that Henry Cavill has made quite an impression on Galicia.
