Three new police bodycam videos connected to Taylor Frankie Paul’s wild 2023 arrest capture the emotional aftermath of the Hulu star being taken into custody.
The first video, which took place one day after the pair’s massive fight on Feb. 18, 2023, begins with an officer from Utah’s Herriman City Police Department calling Paul’s ex, Dakota Mortensen.
Mortensen, 33, explains to the officer how Paul threw a metal barstool at him that he deflected, at which point it allegedly hit her then-5-year-old daughter, Indy, who was sitting on a nearby couch, according to the video which was obtained by TMZ.
“You can hear me trying to check on [Indy], but every time I tried to help her, I was getting attacked,” Mortensen tells the officer. “So I couldn’t.”
Another video, also obtained by TMZ and once again dated Feb. 18, 2023, captures an officer from the Herriman City Police Department calling Mortensen to ask if Paul, 31, had urinated herself on their drive home the night before.
Mortensen insists he pulled over two different times so Paul could use the bathroom, at which point the officer explains that it’s “very common” for suspected domestic violence victims to “pee themselves.”
“If she peed herself, it’s because she was so intoxicated,” Mortensen adds.
A third video obtained by the outlet and dated Feb. 24, 2023, follows two officers returning to Paul’s Utah home to retrieve one of her metal barstools as evidence.
The officers inform Paul that prosecutors ordered them to take the “weapon,” as well as document any damage to her home that resulted from her and Mortensen’s fight the week before.
“Is it super bad?” Paul asks the officers about her legal troubles as they inspect the aftermath of the fight.
“Well, no one’s dead, so it’s not super bad, right?” one of the officers responds. “But it’s not a good thing, it’s definitely not a good thing.”
Another officer adds, “It’s not the end of the world. You will get past this, trust me. I would use this as a really good learning lesson. If you need to get some help for any issues, get it.”
Page Six previously obtained the emotional arrest footage from the night of Paul’s arrest.
It begins with officers from the Herriman City Police Department responding to a domestic violence call to Paul’s home moments after her and Mortensen’s startling fight on the night of Feb. 17, 2023.
Once Paul is led out onto her porch, the officer returns inside to interview Mortensen about the night’s events.
The bodycam footage also shows Mortensen sitting in his car and asking the officer if he can be taken to jail instead of Paul.
However, the officer explains that Paul was determined to be the “primary aggressor” and would be charged with domestic violence.
The footage then captures Paul being handcuffed.
Paul ultimately pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated assault in connection with the incident, which will be reduced to a misdemeanor once she finishes her three-year probation.
The additional charges, including two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child and one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief, were dismissed.
However, the 2023 fight between her and Mortensen resurfaced last week when TMZ released footage of the altercation.
ABC canceled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” just a few days before it was set to premiere in the wake of the leaked video, and the “Secret Lives” star also lost custody of her 2-year-old son, Ever.
Paul shares Indy and her son Ocean, 5, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul. She shares Ever with Mortensen.
