Keira Knightley and husband James Righton hold hands at Wimbledon three months after putting divorce rumours to bed

Keira Knightley and husband James Righton held hands as they arrived at Wimbledon on Friday, three months after putting divorce rumours to bed.

In February, Keira, 41, raised eyebrows when she stopped using her husband’s surname in official documents and James was also pictured without his wedding band on.

But in April, the couple confirmed all was well again when they were pictured wearing their rings again. 

Keira and James seemed loved up when they arrived at the tennis grounds ahead of Arthur Fery vs Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner vs  Novak Djokovic, who will play on Centre Court at 13.10 and 15.30 respectively.

Keira looked incredible wearing a white pussybow midi dress by Chanel teamed with strappy sandals. 

The movie star, who shares two daughters Edie, ten, and Delilah, six, with James, 42, carried a white clutch bag and wore tortoiseshell sunglasses.

James, the former singer in the band Klaxons, wore a light grey suit over a pink shirt and cream Gucci loafers. 

Keira’s name now reads Keira Christine Knightley, at Companies House, having previously been Righton. 

The changes relate to her performing arts company KCK Boo Ltd, which had more than £11million of assets at the time of its latest accounts. 

After speculation about the reason for the change, representatives for the actress said it was done to comply with new identity verification rules which meant it had to align with her ID document name, not her married name.

In 2014 she had talked about adopting her husband’s name, saying: ‘I went to do the passport thing “cos I was thinking, ‘Shall I do it? It will be helpful”. But you actually have to see it written down, and I found I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t go there. Yet.’

Keira changed her name on company documents in 2021. 

Meanwhile, the famous pair were in good company on the day. 

No doubt Keira will be looking forward to bumping into fashion designer Tom Ford, who arrived with Sense And Sensibility star George MacKay. 

Actors Lesley Manville and Richard E Grant were also present on the day and were dressed in Ralph Lauren.

The designer is the Official Outfitter of The Championships, Wimbledon, celebrating a historic 20-year partnership that began in 2006. 

Actress Leslie, 70, looked elegant in a double breasted white dress and a tan handbag while Richard dressed up in a pale blue suit. 

Mia Armstong was also there in Ralph Lauren. 

Felicity Jones looked lovely in white as she headed arm-in-arm with her husband British film director Charles Guard. 

Anna Wintour caught the eye in a patterned  blue dress as she headed into Wimbledon with Baz Luhrman.
