Hip-hop producer Tay Keith has died. He was 29.
Keith — who co-produced Travis Scott’s 2018 hit “Sicko Mode” — was found dead in his Nashville apartment after a welfare check, Metro Nashville Police told TMZ Thursday.
His cause of death is unknown, and officers don’t suspect foul play.
The Memphis-born producer was nominated for a Grammy in the category of best rap song for “Sicko Mode” at the 61st annual awards ceremony in 2019.
He was also nominated for best rap song at the 2024 ceremony for his work on Drake and 21 Savage’s track “Rich Flex.”
Keith — born Brytavious Lakeith Chambers — also helped produce Drake’s 2018 song “Nonstop,” as well as BlocBoy JB’s 2018 single “Look Alive.”
