Jelly Roll is taking an indefinite break for his mental health following his divorce from Bunnie Xo.
The country singer, 41, said he was taking a hiatus from performing for at least a year during his concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, last week.
“This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” he told his fans, per Country Now. “And in a couple of nights, I go to Colorado Springs and do my last show for a year or two.”
“I’m fixing to take some time off and heal,” he continued. “Thank you for the opportunity.”
Jelly’s last scheduled performance was on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The “Hands Up” singer’s tour break comes after he finalized his divorce from Bunnie Xo last month.
According to court docs obtained by Page Six, Bunnie will receive a one-time lump sum payment from him.
They also entered into a confidential property settlement agreement (CPSA) to divvy up their assets, including property, furniture, vehicles, an aircraft, accounts, debt, intellectual property and more.
Additionally, they acknowledged that they ignored warnings from their legal teams against having kids together after their divorce, which Bunnie said they still plan to do via IVF.
Both the singer and the “Dumb Blonde” podcast host have already moved on romantically. Back in June, Bunnie shared that Jelly was eagerly dating again after he filed for divorce from her in May following nearly 10 years of marriage.
Meanwhile, on the Fourth of July, Bunnie, 46, was spotted kissing 24-year-old “Calabasas Confidential” star Dylan Wolf at Jelly’s Goodnight Nashville bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
While the exes have appeared to be on good terms, Jelly’s daughter, 18-year-old Bailee Ann DeFord, hinted at an explosive reason for the shocking divorce in a fiery TikTok last month. While she insisted that neither Jelly Roll or Bunnie cheated, she teased that the reason for their divorce would stun fans.
“Y’all have no f–king idea what happened, and wait till y’all find out. Just f–king wait,” she said. “Because I promise y’all, the view of what y’all have of not only the situation, but their relationship … The internet in totality is about to f–king crumble the day that I open my mouth.”
Last Wednesday, Page Six confirmed the exes no longer follow each other on social media.
