Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith reportedly started sharing a home again “two years ago”.
The 57-year-old actor and the Gotham star, 54, got married in 1997, but in 2023 Jada revealed they had separated in 2016, and it was later said they were “still together” but living in separate homes.
Now, a source has told People magazine: “Jada moved back in with Will two years ago.
“They are happy and love each other and are, as ever, committed to supporting each other.”
Last month, the pair had a family reunion at Christian Louboutin’s Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week.
They were spotted on the red carpet and posed for photos with their 25-year-old daughter Willow, Jada’s mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and Will’s 33-year-old son Trey, who he has with ex Sheree Zampino.
The insider added that Will and Jada were in Philadelphia to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States on July 4.
They added: “Will was set to perform but weather delayed it, and he went on to perform with the Roots at 2am.”
It’s said Jada “was there with him as she always is”.
Will and Jada met on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when she auditioned for the role of Will’s on-screen girlfriend, Lisa Wilkes.
They got married on New Year’s Eve, Dec 31, 1997, during an intimate ceremony held in Baltimore, Maryland.
However, in October 2023, she revealed that they had secretly separated in 2016, but chose to remain married to one another.
Appearing on NBC’s Today show at the time, Jada said: “It was not a divorce on paper, but it was a divorce.”
Asked why they kept their separation a secret for seven years, the Scream 2 star responded: “I think just not being ready yet.
“Still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in a partnership, and in regards to how do we present that to people, you know? And we hadn’t figured that out.”
Jada and Will felt “exhausted” by trying hard to make their relationship work.
She said: “I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”
Also in October 2023, Jada revealed that she and Will were “figuring out” their future.
Speaking about the state of their marriage at the time, Jada told People magazine: “We’re still figuring it out.
“We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us…
“I’m going to be by his side. but also allow him to have to figure this out for himself.”
Back in February, Jada revealed Will had gifted her life-sized pillows of their blended family for Valentine’s Day.
She shared a video of the gift on her Instagram Stories at the time and wrote over the clip: “Life size pillows for a family snuggle.
“Thank you @willsmith. Happy Love Day everybody. (sic)”
