Vogue Williams has called out Usher for his support of convicted criminals Chris Brown and P Diddy.
The Burn singer, 47, is currently on tour with Chris, 37, and went viral this week after a video emerged of a fan rejecting his seductive onstage moves.
After the snub, the fan – named Gabrielle Cheyenne – took to social media to share that she was annoyed because she wanted to receive a dance from Chris instead, and claimed she had been offered an upgrade to the VIP section thanks to ‘pretty privilege’.
Vogue and pal Joanna McNally discussed the drama in the latest episode of their podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, with Vogue musing: ‘I think he was kind of bothered that she wasn’t it to it and he’d brought her up, and he’s so used to everyone being mad into it.
‘But people are being like “Oh, he’s so good. He understands consent.” It’s nothing f**king to do with that. He was p**sed off that she got up and didn’t want to get involved in it and that’s why he sent her off stage.
‘Right, I’ve got to say this. There’s something about him [Usher] – isn’t he touring with Chris Brown?’

Joanne then interjected: ‘That’s it. So this the woman who was brought up on stage, she said she wants to go up for Chris, not Usher. And they didn’t tell her she’s been up for him.
‘She’s like, “Oh, hold on. I want the guy who beat up Rihanna, if you don’t mind. That’s who I’m choosing to get a lap dance off, please”.’
Chris famously guilty to felony assault in 2009 for physically beating his then-girlfriend, pop star Rihanna, hours before the Grammy Awards.
Vogue then doubled down on her initial point, as she responded: ‘Usher said about P Diddy that “Puff Daddy was misunderstood”. Can you imagine?’
Rather than misunderstood, Usher said that Diddy had been ‘misrepresented’, but the comments still prompted a heavy backlash.
Diddy is serving four years after being convicted on July 2, 2025 of two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
The sentencing followed the release of 2016 hotel surveillance footage in 2024, showing Diddy physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, which corroborated allegations she made in a November 2023 lawsuit – claims Diddy had previously denied.
Usher and Diddy have a decades-long relationship that began with Diddy serving as Usher’s mentor in the early 1990s and, in a Forbes interview in March, he appeared to dodge any denouncement of his former mentor.
‘I think certain people are prosecuted and maybe not recognised for the greatness that they offer,’ Usher began.
‘I don’t have anything negative to say about Sean Combs because my experience was not what the world has seen, and how he’s been, you know, misrepresented.’
He added: ‘I’m not saying that every man is perfect. I’m not saying that all of us don’t have flaws, but I can’t with any sense of humanity, not recognise the valuable contributions that this man made.’
Diddy replied to Usher’s supportive comments through his spokesperson, telling TMZ, ‘I’ve always had love and respect for Usher. I appreciate his words and everything he’s achieved.’

Meanwhile, Chris also has a lengthy history of convictions.
In 2017, Chris’ ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order against him after she shared text messages and voicemails in court where Chris threatened her and demanded she return diamond rings and other gifts given during their relationship.
He publicly denied the allegations, stating: ‘She doesn’t need a restraining from me. I need one from them…. And I will not just accept any papers from any lawyer and I will not go to court admit guilt to further tarnish who I am.
‘I pled guilty in the Rihanna case because I was. I refuse to allow these evil hearted people to label me and lie because they think it will skyrocket their career. Just stay away from me.’
Chris has also been accused of other acts of physical assault and has also faced dismissed rape allegations.
This week, the Loyal singer pleaded guilty to affray in connection to his role in a nightclub attack that took place in the UK in 2023.
Appearing at Southwark Crown Court in London, UK on Friday, the singer was due to face more serious charges, which he denied – assault, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, and having an offensive weapon (a tequila bottle). Those charges have now been dropped.
Chris will be sentenced on October 26. The charge is punishable by up to three years in prison.

Usher and Chris have teamed up for The R&B tour, which is set to conclude on December 12 in Tampa, Florida.
This week, the show made headlines when Usher was rejected by a fan who was brought out to take part in a tradition on the show – where they sit down and have either Chris or Usher dance seductively for them.
After Gabrielle Cheyenne made her discomfort clear, she was trolled on social media, prompting her to fire back on Facebook: ‘First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn’t gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen where you b****es will never be?’
In a separate post, she proclaimed, ‘My attitude isn’t “nasty” until provoked!! Y’all aren’t gonna get on the internet calling me out my name and disrespecting me and expect me to keep it cool!’
She said that ‘in real life’ she is ‘quiet’ and keeps to herself, but warned, ‘Don’t think that y’all are gonna bully me about an experience that you didn’t get.’
Usher hit back at Gabrielle later in the week when he performed the dance section again.
He began by warning: ‘Now before we get started, don’t bring your a*s up here if you don’t want to be here.’
Referencing Gabrielle’s claim that she had ‘pretty privilege’, he said, ‘God don’t like ugly, but he most certainly don’t feel too good about pretty privilege either.’
