Forget jerseys and T-shirts; these stars are repping the Knicks right down to their knickers.
With the New York team in the NBA finals for the first time since 1999, several WAGs have been wearing their hearts on their lingerie thanks to Fleur du Mal’s blue-and-orange All Star Demi Bra and Cheeky Panties.
But it all started during last year’s playoff run, when eagle-eyed fans spotted the same sporty set in a snap of Kylie Jenner’s suitcase — sparking an internet frenzy even the brand’s founder, Jennifer Zuccarini, didn’t predict.
“The response and coverage were a surprise for us,” she told Page Six Style of the moment, which followed Jenner’s first string of courtside appearances with partner Timothée Chalamet.
“I remember someone reposted her image and said something like, ‘Knick lingerie is crazy!!! You got a real one @RealChalamet,” Zuccarini added. “It was fun.”
And since becoming available for more fans to shop, the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s basketball-themed set has scored social media shout-outs from everyone from Shannon Hart (wife of Knicks star Josh Hart) to Jordyn Woods.
“Obsessed,” the latter star wrote on Instagram last week, while sharing a snap of panties embroidered with fiancé Karl-Anthony Towns’ jersey number. (Perhaps Birkins aren’t her only good luck charm.)
Ana Zortea, partner of Miles “Deuce” McBride, even proved the style’s too cute to stay hidden, letting it play peekaboo underneath a low-cut top in a recent courtside video.
The bold look was inspired by the Fleur du Mal team’s own sports fandom, as Zuccarini told us, “It’s funny to imagine, but we’ll be in a lingerie fitting looking at a beautiful lace bra and talking about the game last night.”
While you needn’t be married to an NBA player to score the style, we do recommend snapping it up fast, given the brand’s already had to restock it at least once.
The brand’s list of A-list fans is practically too long to put into print; Taylor Swift has worn various Fleur du Mal pieces over the years, while Sabrina Carpenter and Tyla have sported the sultry styles on stage.
Jenner’s also worn the non-Knicks-themed designs “many times,” per Zuccarini. (“I remember making her a custom metallic bodysuit for Paper magazine probably 10 years ago,” she added.)
One celebrity (and Knicks super-fan) Fleur du Mal has yet to dress, however? Spike Lee.
“I would love to see Spike Lee in our men’s silk pajamas at a game,” Zuccarini told us. “We’ll happily make them in Knicks colors just for him.”
