The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify announced Tuesday that they are partnering on a Golden Globes red carpet preshow hosted by social media sensation Kareem Rahma.
Rahma, the creator behind the viral social media sensation SubwayTakes, is bringing his sharp wit and unmistakable style to one of Hollywood’s most glamorous nights as the host of The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify’s red carpet platform at the 83rd annual Golden Globes.
As the stars arrive for one of awards season’s most anticipated celebrations, Rahma will be front and center, interviewing the evening’s most buzzed-about nominees, presenters and guests. Known for blending humor with cultural insight, Rahma will wield his microphone to capture the night’s hottest — and potentially most provocative — takes in real time.
Rahma’s SubwayTakes has already attracted an impressive roster of A-list talent, including Woody Harrelson, Spike Lee, Zoë Kravitz, Jason Bateman, Rosalía, Ethan Hawke, Austin Butler, Rachel Sennott and Hasan Minhaj, among many others. His Golden Globes coverage promises the same quick-fire candor and viral energy, set against the glitz of the red carpet.
Catch all the excitement with Rahma and the stars across The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify’s social media platforms, with expanded coverage available on THR.com.
The news follows on the heels of THR and Spotify’s announcement of Nominees Night, which will celebrate the nominees for the 2026 Golden Globes. The evening, an official Golden Week event, will celebrate the Globes’ first best podcast category and take place Thursday at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood.
Bringing together the best of film, TV and podcasting, Nominees Night guests will enjoy special performances by Chaka Khan, multiplatinum artist and producer John Legend and Sinners breakout star Miles Caton. The newly added performers will join previously announced headlining DJ, Mark Ronson, at Thursday’s event.
The Golden Globes ceremony will take place Sunday at the Beverly Hilton, airing live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. Nikki Glaser is returning as host.
