Summer House newbie Mia Calabrese is all in on the idea of a spinoff with her BFF Ciara Miller.
“I love it,” Mia, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Vulture Reality Masterminds Celebration on Thursday, May 7. “I love Ciara so much, and I think that idea is great.”
Mia, however, pointed out that she has “no control” over a series being ordered by Bravo.
“I’m at the bottom of the totem pole. I don’t make the rules over there. Bravo [does],” she told Us. “I have no idea what’s happening. I’m just grateful to be there.”
Mia joined Summer House just in time for the 10th season, which is currently airing.
“The experience of filming was so amazing. I had such a good time,” she gushed. “I learned so much about myself and, like, obviously, so much has happened post-filming, and it feels like every day they’re finding new things. It’s a lot. The reunion happened, that was a lot, but I’m just happy to be here.”
Months after filming wrapped, Mia’s housemates Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke announced in January that they had separated after four years of marriage. Within three months, Amanda, 34, revealed that she had started casually dating costar West Wilson. (West, 31, previously dated Ciara, 30, in 2023 before sources told Us they hooked up again earlier this year.)
Ciara claimed she was blindsided by the love triangle, though she reunited with West, Amanda and the entire Summer House crew for the reunion taping last month. Audio from the set leaked online within hours, in which Ciara was heard confronting Amanda and West about the drama. Bravo has since conducted an investigation into the source of the leak.
“An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” a rep for the TV network said in an April 26 statement. “As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken.”
The statement continued, “There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio. We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content.”
As for Mia, she is “grateful” that the situation is behind the entire cast.
“I’m grateful that it’s over. I think the [fans] are gonna learn a lot,” Mia teased to Us of the sure-to-be explosive reunion. “We’re there for hours. A lot was said, a lot was asked, and I’m excited for that chapter … to be closed. I’m like, ‘OK, I’m happy.’”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
