Relationships should be fun.
“Summer House” star Dara Levitan confirmed she and her co-star KJ Dillard have called it quits after almost a year of dating.
“Do you want to know what’s setting me off? Well, I’m single,” the 33-year-old began on her “Five More Minutes” podcast on Thursday. “That’s all we’re going to say about it because I can’t do tears this morning, and there’s no way I’m talking about it without crying.”
Levitan’s co-host, Carly Rivlin, and their guest, skincare expert Sean Garrette, also spoke about dating on the episode, with the reality star confessing that she has “no idea what I’m doing when it comes to men and love.”
The trio discussed hooking up with or without wearing makeup, to which Levitan teased, “It’s been a long time since I’ve had any kind of casual hookup so let’s circle back in 90 days and see where we’re at to see if I’m talking to a man.”
The influencer quipped, “I love them against my will, but I don’t like them.”
Levitan and Dillard, 28, first started dating last summer while filming Season 10 of the Bravo show.
The exes were connected through their mutual friend and former co-star West Wilson.
Earlier this month, Jesse Solomon revealed his castmates had ended things while on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“Last I heard, they were broken up. Sorry if that’s not public,” the singer, 33, shared.
Earlier this month, Dillard opened up about how his mental health struggles affected Levitan during their romance.
The Bravo star confessed while on Carl Radke’s “More Life with Carl Radke” podcast that when he first joined the reality show he was in a “terrible place” financially.
“Me and Dara were struggling because I was taking out what I was going through out on her. I wasn’t even aware of it,” Dillard recounted.
At the time, unbeknownst to the model, he was battling an undiagnosed borderline personality disorder.
Levitan ended their relationship “because she had to” as Dillard hit “rock bottom.”
Dillard ended up entering recovery for self-harm and the duo broke up.
While on the podcast, Dillard said that he and Levitan were still together.
“We do a good job at not letting [the public] tear us apart. It affects us individually, of course, but the relationship, we both know what we want and what we’ve gone through together.”
Dillard also his relationship with Levitan “some love story s–t.”
The artist then dropped a music video for his song, “My Lil Thing” — where he rapped about his relationship with Levitan, who was also featured in the video.
Despite the track, fans began to speculate that the two might have split up after they unfollowed one another and deleted pictures of themselves together from their Instagram feeds.
