The “I Decided” songstress said she watched Panettiere’s “endless quest for vulnerability and healing.”
“I salute your journey and i honor the work we created together that became something that really means something to people… reaching people we couldn’t have ever imagined at the time, as two young girls, trying to Keep looking to the light,” she added. “The light surrounds you now rest easy hayden.”
The Grammy winner, 40, posted the heartfelt tribute alongside stills of her and Panettiere together from their time on the third installment in the “Bring It On” franchise.

Panettiere was also honored by her other “Bring It On: All or Nothing” castmates, including Francia Raisa, who said she has been “stuck” since hearing the tragic news Monday.
“I can’t believe this. Rest well my ‘Bring It On’ sis,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Tuesday.
Gustavo Carr, who played Panettiere’s love interest Jess in the film, also took to Instagram to pay tribute to the “Nashville “alum.
“You are a light, Hayden. A muse. An artist. An old soul, wise beyond your years. The kind of person people loved to work with and felt lucky to know,” he wrote.
“I hope you knew you were seen and loved. So much life lived, and still far too soon. I wish there had been one more hug. Rest peacefully, Hayden. Sending all my love to your daughter, your family, and everyone who loved you. ❤️🕊️,” Carr, 42, concluded.
Giovonnie Samuels, who portrayed Crenshaw Heights cheerleader Kirresh, said on Instagram she was “still in shock” after hearing the news.
Panettiere was found dead in a Greenville, South Carolina, Airbnb on Sunday. She was 36.
An autopsy obtained by Page Six revealed that there were no signs of trauma.
The day before the “Remember the Titans” star’s death, she had traveled from Los Angeles to South Carolina with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.
Page Six exclusively reported that the “Heroes” actress kept her friends “in the dark” about her recent reunion with Hickerson — who previously admitted to abusing Panettiere.
