Come January 24, 2025 and Bollywood will get an all new rising star. Veer Pahariya is making his big screen debut with Sky Force. The role is special as it gives him the opportunity to do something challenging in his very first film. ‘Which 20 something actor has done this?’ he asks with great pride and a conviction of a true-blue Bollywood actor. He sings, dances and his experience as an AD on film sets has helped him hone his craft and be ready to be in front of the camera. The actor plays the role of real-life war hero Squadron Leader Ajjamada Devayya, who played a significant part in the Indo-Pak war of 1965. In this exclusive session on Spotlight With Smrity, Veer talks about his first time on a film set and how seeing Shah Rukh Khan shoot for a film made him decide in his heart that he wants to become an actor. The young star also opens up on working with Sara Ali Khan, with whom he has shared a great offscreen bond and also revealed the practical advice he got from friends and recent debutants Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor.
