Christy Carlson Romano shaded her former “Even Stevens” co-star, Shia LaBeouf, after he was arrested in New Orleans.

“When they ask you about your old costar, but you’ve stopped ‘inserting yourself,’” the Disney Channel alum wrote alongside a new Instagram clip shared Wednesday.

She lip-synched the phrase, “I’m not involved. You made that very clear,” in the video.

Romano — who recently revealed she tested positive for a cancer screening test — wrote in her caption, “I’ve got bigger 🐟 to fry.”

Although Romano did not outright call out LaBeouf, who played her brother in the popular Disney Channel series that aired from 2000 to 2003, her post came just hours after his arrest.

In a 2021 YouTube video, Romano opened up about her falling out with LaBeouf, admitting that she was “salty” over his post-“Even Stevens” success.

“We went from seeing each other every day, to not seeing each other for years, to him being this huge star,” she said. “For a while, I think the ghost of who Shia was and who he became was really frustrating for me.”

Romano explained that she felt “an undercurrent of regret” that she chose to go to college while the “Transformers” actor became a big Hollywood star.

Romano also admitted that, despite what fans may have thought, she and LaBeouf were simply “co-workers” and were never really close.

“I’m not sure how he ever felt about me, to be honest with you. He never really let me know,” she shared. “Sadly, I feel like there was a missed opportunity to bond.”

LaBeouf, 39, was arrested Tuesday after getting pummeled in a brawl during Mardi Gras.

The “Holes” star was charged with two counts of simple battery, Page Six confirmed, and spent time behind bars at Orleans Parish Prison in Louisiana.

A local bartender told the Hollywood Reporter that LaBeouf was “terrorizing the city,” while a doorman at a dive bar claimed the actor was “somewhat belligerent” when he approached the establishment without a shirt or cash.

After he was released from jail Tuesday, LaBeouf continued partying and even mocked his arrest by dancing with his jail paperwork in his mouth.

Page Six also confirmed that LaBeouf quietly split from wife Mia Goth nearly a year ago.

The exes tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed a daughter together in 2022.
