Shia LaBeouf was spotted at New Orleans wellness spa Spyre on Thursday, and it seems the controversial actor is up to his old antics again.
Once Hollywood’s golden boy, the 39-year-old has had a turbulent few months, including two arrests linked to a Mardi Gras brawl in February.
Just weeks later, he was caught on video in Rome yelling at a woman to ‘f*** off’ – and another clip showed him causing a scene in a hotel lobby.
At Spyre, photos show the actor shirtless, relaxing outside on a towel, with what appears to be his new girlfriend Nicole Mumphrey. But witnesses claim the images only tell part of the story.
Guests reportedly claim LaBeouf has been disturbing the spa’s normally peaceful, zen-like atmosphere with nonstop loud phone calls, while his PDA with Mumphrey seems to be ruffling feathers.
The snaps from Thursday show him kissing her thigh as she lounged in a bikini, reportedly drawing the attention – and exasperation – of fellow patrons.

The Daily Mail has reached out to LaBeouf’s representatives for comment.
Like LaBeouf, Mumphrey has also had a past run-in with the law and experience with a ‘toxic’ relationship.
An insider claimed to the Daily Mail that their fledgling romance ‘is not going to end well.’
Mumphrey was charged with ‘domestic abuse aggravated assault’ and ‘false imprisonment with a weapon’ on June 27, 2021, after an incident involving her unnamed ex-boyfriend at their home in New Orleans.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Mumphrey was released on a $2,000 bond after her arrest.
She was ordered to complete a domestic abuse intervention program through the Domestic Violence Monitoring Court by November 2021.
In February, LaBeouf gave his first interview after the initial New Orleans bar arrest, in which he made a series of bizarre claims.
In the Channel 5 segment with Andrew Callaghan, the former child star shocked viewers with his outlandish and often controversial statements.

Among them was a claim that he felt ‘scared’ when approached by three gay men on Fat Tuesday.
‘Big gay people are scary to me,’ LaBeouf said plainly during one part of the hour-long conversation with Callaghan. ‘When I’m standing by myself and three gay dudes are next to me, touching my leg, I get scared. I’m sorry. If that’s homophobic then I’m that.’
He also explained about the altercation, ‘I was drunk and then I felt infringed upon in terms of my proximity. But I wasn’t in my right mind, and so it’s on me.’
And he took accountability for reportedly using a gay slur, admitting, ‘I said words not ok to say. I don’t want to hurt nobody’s feelings… I’m wrong for what I did.’
Eyewitnesses previously alleged LaBeouf became increasingly aggressive at a business and was escorted out by staff, at which point he allegedly struck one man multiple times with closed fists.
Authorities said the situation escalated when LaBeouf returned to the scene and allegedly assaulted the same victim again before punching a second man in the nose.
He posted a $100,000 bond after making a court appearance.
The actor is now required to check into rehab and undergo regular drug and alcohol testing.

LaBeouf told Callaghan he relocated to New Orleans, where he has deep family roots, following the Los Angeles wildfires in January 2025.
LaBeouf detailed some family history elsewhere in the interview.
He explained that his paternal grandmother was a lesbian who married a man who served as her ‘beard,’ a partner meant to publicly disguise someone’s homosexuality.
His last name was originally spelled LeBoeuf but the spelling was changed by his grandmother in an effort to distance herself from her family, who had disowned her.
Speaking on the subject of homosexuality, he clarified: ‘I’m good with gay. Be gay over there though. Don’t be gay in my lap.’
In the wide-ranging interview, the movie star briefly discussed the demise of his marriage to actress Mia Goth.
The exes share daughter Isabel, who turned four in March.
‘It’s not new heartbreak. I don’t want to talk too much about it. It’s not my story alone to tell, but my side is I failed my marriage, so I had to own up to that. So that’s why I moved out here,’ he said.
