The Champions Trophy is over and now all eyes are set on the Indian Premier League, aka IPL 2025. The cricket tournament is all set to begin in a few days and Indians can’t wait for the same. Last year, the opening ceremony, the matches and the finale – every aspect was remarkable. Well, this year, the organisers are making sure to deliver the best.
As per the reports, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will be a part of the grand opening ceremony of IPL 2025. The duo will take the stage and perform for the audience. Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor might also perform at the ceremony. Kapoor is the internet’s sweetheart and seeing her perform live after a long time will definitely make her fans happy. Other stars like Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt and Disha Patani will also be joining.
About the same, a source told Hindustan Times, “Their presence is likely to add a touch of glamour and excitement to the highly anticipated event. Shah Rukh is expected to attend as his team is playing the opening match, and Salman might make an appearance to promote his upcoming film, Sikandar.”
Along with the Bollywood stars, the IPL 2025 opening ceremony would also be lit up by music artists. Singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, and Karan Aujla will be performing live. The American band OneRepublic, known for some popular songs like Apologise, Counting Stars and more, will also be entertaining the audience.
Some other names include Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Triptii Dimri, Ayushmann Khurrana, Pooja Hegde, and Janhvi Kapoor. The IPL 2025 opening ceremony will take place on March 22 at the Eden Gardens.
