Even Prada is getting in on the members-only club craze.
The Italian fashion house’s traveling private club, Prada Mode, landed at Hotel Chelsea in New York City Wednesday with a VIP preview featuring live music, dining and branded vending machines stocked with Prada stickers, pins and coloring books.
Inside, Page Six Style spied house muse Hunter Schafer catching up with “Oh Mary!” playwright Cole Escola, Nina Dobrev chatting it up with Allison Williams and designer Miuccia Prada herself making the rounds. Meanwhile, staffers outfitted in gleaming silver Prada spacesuits offered guests trays of snacks and cocktails.
Also in attendance? Director Nicolas Winding Refn — whose “Satellites II” installation, co-curated with video game designer Hideo Kojima, is the centerpiece of Prada Mode New York — and Sophie Thatcher, the star of Refn’s upcoming film “Her Private Hell.”
Prada Mode New York runs from June 3 through 7, with the final three days open to the public. Head to the event website for more details, and see the stars’ looks from Wednesday’s preview below.
