The much-anticipated second teaser of Sikandar dropped this week, and fans aren’t just excited, but also eagerly awaiting its theatrical release. After a two-year gap, Salman Khan is set for an Eid release which has clearly sparked joy and anticipation among his fans. While the action scenes and dialogues have garnered great reactions, there’s one detail you just can’t ignore. Yes, it’s the views garnered on the second teaser which have failed to surpass those of the first teaser. For the unversed, the movie’s first teaser was released last year.
On February 27, Salman Khan took to social media platforms – Instagram and X (formerly known as X) – to share the second teaser of his much-awaited film. She shared the teaser with the caption that read, “Jo dilon par karta hai raj woh aaj kehlata hai Sikandar”.

The first Sikandar teaser dropped in December and got a massive 41.6 million views in the first 24 hours. It managed to beat the records created by Dunki, Maidaan, Fighter, and other big releases. However, the second teaser has yet to surpass the record set by the first one.
As reported by Koimoi, Sikandar Teaser 2 earned 28 million views in the first 24 hours. It has become the fourth most-viewed Bollywood teaser on YouTube with the 24-hour record. The first one tops the list, followed by Dunki with 36.8 million and Maidaan with 29.5 million. Even though Salman Khan’s upcoming movie’s second teaser continues to trend on #1 on YouTube, the views are worrisome.
When the teaser was released, many people had mocked it. Some had questioned Salman’s stoic expression in the teaser and joked that it looked like he walked straight out of the Bigg Boss set. Even though the teaser had received mixed reactions, the excitement for the Eid release remains high among all fans. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. Murugadoss earlier directed Hindi movies like Ghajini, Holiday and Akira with Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
