The wait is over! Yes, the makers of Kannappa have finally released the second teaser today. The teaser was unveiled in both Hindi and Telugu. Since Kannappa is set to be one of the biggest films of 2025, the massive excitement and buzz around the movie is expected. For those who came in late, the film’s buzz stems not just from its mythological storyline. Interestingly, the star-studded cast has also helped the movie to gain everyone’s attention. Led by Vishnu Manchu, the film features special appearances from popular stars including Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohanlal, among others.
In the teaser, we are introduced to Vishnu Manchu as Thinnadu. As a warrior, Thinnadu has to deal with the consequences of wars and the loss of lives (soldiers). In the movie, we will also see Thinnadu’s journey as a Lord Shiva bhakt. The teaser introduces the viewers to Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva and Kajal Aggarwal as Goddess Parvati. However, what got the most exciting reactions under the video released was Prabhas’ entry.

In the movie, Prabhas will portray Rudra. His fans can’t contain their excitement to see more of his character in Kannappa. In the comments, one person wrote, “Prabhas just dominated the teaser in both languages Hindi and Telugu comments all about prabhas. This is called the pan India star dominance.” Another fan commented, “Kya entry hai prabhas ki. Dhasu entry. Very good. Prabash fan.” One more fan commented, “This is called how to present daring prabhas in goosebumps way… First day first show confirm.”

The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and Vishnu Manchu himself has penned the story and screenplay. Stephen Devassy will provide the music for the pan-India film, which is all set to hit theatres on April 25, 2025.
