Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have been in the news. They have been living separately for a year and now their divorce is also finalised. The latest reports say that Chahal had agreed to pay a permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree and out of which Rs 2.37 crore has already been paid. The non-payment of the rest of the amount was seen as non compliance by the family court.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s emotional note

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan penned an emotional note on her father Krishnaraj Rai’s death anniversary. She shared some pictures that had her daughter paying respects to her grand father. She wrote, “Love you eternally dearest darling Daddy-Ajjaaa. Thank you for all your loving blessings always.”

Jaya Bachchan, Samajwadi Party MP made fiery statements on Akshay Kumar’s social drama Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman calling them a ‘flop’ film. The comments have stirred up controversy and people have slammed her for trolling women centric films. In an event, Jaya Bachchan said, “Abhi aap naam bhi dekhiye toh mai aise picturein kabhi na dekhu. Toilet Ek Prem Katha, yeh koi naam hai? Yeh koi title hai? Please bataiye aap logo me se kitne log iss tarah ki title wali film dekhne jayenge. (You look at the name. I would never watch a film with such a title. Is this a title? You tell me how many of you would watch a film with such a name.) Picture flop hai (It’s a flop film).”
