Robert and Bindi Irwin may have both won over America on Dancing With The Stars US, but insiders say their lives have since gone in dramatically different directions.
Bindi, 27, famously used her 2015 DWTS victory to strengthen her connection to family life, conservation and Australia Zoo.
However, sources tell Daily Mail that Robert’s recent breakout success has awakened much bigger international ambitions in the youngest Irwin.
And those close to the famous family say the contrast between the siblings has never been more obvious.
‘Bindi and Robert are actually incredibly different people once you get past the public image,’ one source close to Australia Zoo says.
‘The opportunities around Bindi after she won Dancing With The Stars were enormous back in 2015.’

‘There was genuine Hollywood interest around her too. But fame always took a backseat to family, the zoo and continuing Steve’s legacy,’ they add.
Meanwhile, the insider claims Robert, 22, is approaching this stage of his career very differently.
‘Robert absolutely still loves the zoo and conservation but his heart hasn’t been there in the same way since Dancing With The Stars,’ the source alleges.
‘Before the show, he was much more grounded at home. Now there’s this whole other world opening up around him and he seems genuinely excited by it.’
Following his explosive popularity in America, insiders say Robert has become one of the world’s most in-demand young television personalities.
Rival networks are aggressively pursuing him for major hosting roles and entertainment projects.
Behind the scenes, executives reportedly view Robert as far more than simply a wildlife presenter.
‘Networks see him as this rare crossover star,’ another industry insider claims.

Should Robert pursue global fame or focus on his family’s conservation legacy at Australia Zoo?

However, sources tell Daily Mail that Robert’s recent breakout success has awakened much bigger international ambitions in the youngest Irwin. (Pictured: Robert and Bindi with mother Terri Irwin)
‘He’s handsome, funny, media-trained and audiences trust him. There’s a belief he could become a huge global entertainment personality.’
The younger Irwin’s growing Hollywood connections have only intensified speculation about his future, particularly after his recent behind-the-scenes visit to the set of The Mandalorian & Grogu alongside Star Wars director Jon Favreau.
‘People around Robert think he’s only scratching the surface,’ says the insider.
‘There’s genuine talk he could follow the same path as Chris Hemsworth where Australia stays home base, but the career becomes very international.’
Meanwhile, Bindi has remained deeply focused on Australia Zoo, husband Chandler Powell and raising daughter Grace Warrior away from the chaos of Hollywood.
Sources insist there is no rivalry between the siblings, with Bindi believed to be enormously supportive of Robert’s growing fame.
‘She wants Robert to chase every opportunity that makes him happy,’ says the source.
‘But Bindi has never wanted that level of celebrity for herself. She’s happiest being close to family and continuing the mission her dad started.’
Still, insiders say Robert’s priorities have clearly shifted over the past year.
‘There’s definitely been a noticeable change,’ the insider adds.
‘Winning Dancing With The Stars changed both of their lives but it changed Robert in a much bigger way than people realise.’
