Lisa Hochstein’s eavesdropping case has taken a surprising turn.
After the “Real Housewives of Miami” star and her now-ex-boyfriend Jody Glidden were charged with one count each of interception of wire, oral or electronic communications, Page Six has learned that the pair “reached an agreement with prosecutors.”
Their attorneys, Jayne Weintraub and Howard Srebnick, told us Tuesday that “all charges” against the duo “will be dismissed [in] mid-June without any admission of guilt of conviction.”
According to court documents, which were first obtained by NBC 6 South Florida, Hochstein and Glidden accepted a pretrial diversion program (PTD), which is an alternative to prosecution offered to “offenders with non-violent priors” by the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office.
The program gives these individuals the opportunity to “make significant changes in their lives so they can avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system.”
If they “complete all conditions and remain arrest-free during [their] participation, the State Attorney’s Office will drop the charges.”
Hochstein — who was previously married to Dr. Lenny Hochstein — and Glidden were accused of “unlawfully and intentionally” intercepting, trying to intercept or trying to have someone else intercept “oral statements” by the plastic surgeon and those he “spoke with” between March 12 and March 31, 2023.
Glidden, 52, was arrested and taken into custody on April 11 but was released shortly after. Lisa, for her part, was able to turn herself in on April 15.
After posing for her mugshot and paying the $5,000 bail, the 43-year-old left the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and treated herself to dinner and margaritas.
In May 2023 — when Lisa was dating Glidden and Lenny was dating Katharina Mazepa — the plastic surgeon accused his then-estranged wife of planting a “listening device” on his car in order to “monitor” his calls.
In court documents, Lenny, 59, claimed Lisa placed “at least one” device to “access and monitor his private, non-public communications involving this litigation,” which “compromised the integrity” of their divorce proceedings.
Lisa denied Lenny’s “nonsense” allegation and accused him and Mazepa — who “broke up their home and family” — of telling “lies.”
Lisa has consistently alleged that Mazepa was Lenny’s mistress, but they have both consistently denied the claim.
After two and a half years, the Hochsteins finalized their divorce in November 2024.
“RHOM” is not currently filming, as the Bravo reality show has been put “on pause.”
