Kelly Dodd is downplaying the allegations that she engaged in revenge porn.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” said in an Instagram video Thursday that when a journalist reached out to her about the charge, for which she’s facing possible jail time, she thought to herself, “What the actual eff is going on here?”
“It’s hilarious to me, by the way,” Dodd, 50, added.
Dodd’s husband, Rick Leventhal, told her followers they “can’t tell you much right now because Kelly hasn’t gone to court yet.”
He did, however, confirm Dodd “is going to court.”
The former Fox News correspondent also claimed TMZ “got most of the facts wrong” in the outlet’s report about the allegations.
“And I know you can’t wait to reveal the truth,” he told Dodd.
As the couple poured tequila in glasses, Dodd said, “I need some uplifting right now because this is so insane. I know it’s somebody in my family that is putting this stuff out there. And you know who it is.”
Dodd also revealed they got an important text message on Leventhal’s phone that they plan to reveal to Patreon subscribers of “The Rick & Kelly Show” on YouTube.
Prosecutors are accusing Dodd of sharing footage of a female having sex and masturbating without their consent, according to court documents obtained by Page Six on Wednesday.
The former Bravo star allegedly shared the images in August 2025 which, according to prosecutors, caused the unnamed victim to suffer severe emotional distress.
Prosecutors claimed Dodd contacted the person and threatened to injure her, her property and her family.
Dodd is also facing a battery charge for an alleged incident that occurred in June 2025 with a different person, Page Six confirmed.
In total, Dodd is currently facing three misdemeanor charges and possible jail time. Page Six has reached out to Dodd’s rep for comment.
Dodd appeared on Bravo’s “RHOC” for five seasons, from 2016 to 2021.
She’s been married to Leventhal, 66, since October 2020.
Her previous marriages were to Michael Dodd from 2006 to 2018 (with whom she shares daughter Jolie), and Scott Silva from 2001 to 2004.
