“Reacher” star Alan Ritchson and wife Catherine announced their split after 20 years of marriage via a joint Instagram post shared Saturday.

“After twenty years together, Cat and I have decided to end our marriage and continue alongside one another in a different way,” the statement began. “We grew up together. We built a life and a family together. And we are raising three incredible boys who will always be the center of our world.”

Ritchson and Catherine went on to note that “nothing can diminish what these years have meant to us” and — or the love and respect we will always share.”

“The best gift we can give one another — and our boys — right now is friendship, grace and a commitment to becoming the strongest co-parents we can be,” they continued.

The pair expressed that they “want to give each other room to grow into the people we are becoming,” noting that “change is hard enough without the whole world weighing in.”

Ritchson and Catherine asked for “privacy and compassion” — “especially for the sake of our boys,” they emphasized — as they navigate this chapter.

They concluded their statement by listing “the health and happiness” of their family as their “priority.”

Page Six has reached out to Ritchson’s representatives for comment.

Ritchson and Catherine married in May 2006 and they share three sons — Calem, born in 2012; Edan, born in 2013; and Amory, born in 2015.

The now-estranged couple first met in ballet when they were in high school, the “Smallville” alum shared in a 2022 interview on “Today.”

Ritchson revealed at the time that Catherine would bring him cookies before his performances before gushing, “Of course I fell in love.”

Ritchson marked their 15th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post in May 2021.

“15 years ago today two kids got married. They had no idea what splendid and terrible things lie ahead of them when they made that vow to remain each other’s partner in life, come what may,” he wrote, in part, at the time. “Despite the precarious highs and the suffocating lows, they’re still holding hands.”

“Happy 15 years @catritchson – I don’t deserve you and the memories we make,” he added.

Last month, Catherine shared an Instagram post of her and her family in Philadelphia, suggesting the couple had relocated there while Ritchson filmed “Reacher” Season 4.

On Thursday, however, she shared a selfie alongside an Instagram about taking a “solo trip” filled with “art” and “statements that resonate.”

Ritchson, meanwhile, notably got into a viral fight with a neighbor in March. He finally addressed the incident in July, calling it the “scariest thing I’ve ever been through” on the “Armchair Expert” podcast.
