Howard Stern’s wife, Beth, couldn’t be more excited about his “win-win” deal with HBO Max.
“Oh my gosh, it’s such a wonderful [decision]. Go Howard!” the model gushed to the Daily Mail Thursday when asked about the shock jockey’s big move.
“It’s actually great for me because he’s now only going to start working one day a week,” she explained.
“So I get more Howard at home. And he gets to still be connected to the world. So it’s a win-win for all of us.”
As Page Six previously reported, Howard’s SiriusXM show is returning for a new season on Sept. 14, with episodes available to stream on HBO Max for the first time.
Sirius confirmed the major deal in a press release to Page Six on Aug. 31.
“For the first time, the ‘King of All Media’ will bring his signature, long-running SiriusXM show to HBO Max by adapting his live SiriusXM show into a streamable episode for HBO Max, along with periodic extras,” the press release read.
The comedian’s show, which debuted on Sirius in 2006, will kick off on HBO Max on Sept. 17, with new episodes releasing every Thursday.
“Howard’s new series on HBO Max takes him to the pinnacle of prestige television and gives his fans a long-desired ‘seat in the studio’ to see what they just heard,” the release continued.
Howard, 77, struck the lucrative deal with HBO Max to stream his once-weekly show last month.
“Stern will be doing the live shows strictly on Mondays,” a source told The Sun at the time, adding, “that’s why he isn’t starting this year on the Tuesday after Labor Day like he usually does.”
The insider added, “This is a very strict schedule for him to be able to use that show’s video for HBO Max.”
The deal also comes on the heels of the radio host’s Howard 101 SiriusXM channel being dropped after a dozen staffers were laid off earlier this summer.
Page Six exclusively reported that his show laid off about 12 staffers as it has dropped down to a single show per week.
Additionally, Michael Rapaport announced earlier this month that the “Howard Stern Show” fantasy football league is now “defunct.”
Ultimately, it was revealed that Howard handed over his Howard 101 SiriusXM channel to Andy Cohen.
“Howard 101 [will] leave the lineup,” and Cohen’s show will move from 101 to 102, the duo announced in a press release.
Back in December 2025, the former “America’s Got Talent” judge signed a three-year contract with SiriusXM, which he said would afford him “flexibility.”
“I am happy to announce that I have figured out a way to have it all,” he told his listeners at the time. “More free time and continuing to be on the radio.”
His previous five-year contract with the network was worth a whopping $500 million and earned him roughly $8,000 per minute.
Beth later divulged on Cohen’s Sirius show, “I think his new schedule is working out really well for him.”
Speaking to the Daily Mail Thursday, Beth also confirmed that they are “pretty much staying in the Hamptons” full time thanks to her husband’s new and more accommodating schedule.
Last month, the couple made a rare appearance at John Mayer’s SiriusXM performance at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York.
