Mohanlal starrer action-thriller L2: Empuraan continues to win hearts across the globe. The recently released film continues its impressive run at the box office and has been inching closer to the Rs 100 crore milestone within 11 days of its release. The film is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and it has managed to earn a total India net collection of Rs 98.35 crore, according to early estimates from the Sacnilk website.
L2: Empuraan had an opening of Rs 21 crore on its first day, the film made a solid business but witnessed a drop on weekdays. L2: Empuraan held its steady position in the second weekend. On the 11th day, it collected an estimated Rs 3.85 crore across in all languages and earned Rs 3.35 crore from Saturday.
The Malayalam version of the film contributed the majority share in the collections. It earned Rs 3.55 crore in Malayalam, while Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi added to the overally tally count. The film’s occupancy rate on Sunday in Kerala paints a different picture alltogether. The Malayalam version got 33.12% occupancy across the day, while the evening show shows an incerase of 41%.

The film is all set to enter Rs 100 crore mark. Sikandar earned Rs 26 crores on its opening day as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Sikandar managed to collect Rs. 90.25 crore by the end of the first week. The film is inching towards the Rs. 200 crore club at the worldwide box office.
