The nominees for the 97th Oscars are in.
Leading the pack is Netflix’s Emilia Pérez at 13 nominations, setting a record for a non-English-language film. The Karla Sofía Gascón-starrer is followed by The Brutalist and Wicked, which both earned 10 nods; A Complete Unknown and Conclave came in third with eight recognitions.
In addition to the above five titles, other best picture nominees include Anora, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys and The Substance.
Many of the Oscar-nominated movies are available to stream on subscription video-on-demand platforms including Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+ or Peacock, while others are available to purchase or rent online on Apple TV, Amazon’s Prime Video and other transactional VOD streamers.
