Oasis are reportedly set to reunite with former bandmates for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction later this year.
Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are apparently also aiming to bring together every key member of the Britpop group’s classic line-up following their long-awaited reconciliation.
The Manchester band, which ended its years-long split ahead of last summer’s hugely successful Live ’25 reunion tour, is expected to celebrate its induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles in November with a gathering of musicians who helped define Oasis during the 1990s.
According to The Sun, Noel, 59, and Liam, 53, want the occasion to include former members Gem Archer, 59, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, 60, Andy Bell, 56, Paul McGuigan, 54, Alan White, 53, and founding drummer Tony McCarroll, 54.
Oasis is among the 2026 class of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, with the ceremony due to take place in Los Angeles in November.
A source involved in organising the reunion told The Sun: “This is going to be an incredible moment for Oasis, and Noel and Liam wanted everyone involved.
“Tony has been spoken to and is keen to come. What happened in the past is now water under the bridge.
“He is aiming to fly to LA for the ceremony along with the rest of the band.
“For the organisers, it couldn’t have come together better.
“Seeing all of these musicians in the same room is one thing, but while there is a hope they may perform, nothing is set in stone. It would be a moment in rock ‘n’ roll history.”
Tony’s reported invitation is significant given his long-running dispute with Noel.
The former drummer has previously claimed he was dismissed from Oasis after standing up to Noel during a hotel confrontation in 1995.
But The Sun now reports Noel and Liam were keen for every former member to be recognised as part of the band’s history, with Tony said to have accepted the invitation.
The induction is expected to be a major celebration of British music.
Fellow 2026 inductees include Phil Collins, Iron Maiden and Joy Division/New Order, while Sir Paul McCartney is reportedly being lined up to introduce Oasis during the ceremony.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has confirmed Oasis as part of its 2026 performer class alongside Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Sade, Wu-Tang Clan and others.
The reported plans continue the remarkable turnaround in relations between Noel and Liam after one of rock music’s longest-running feuds.
Their reunion for the Live ’25 tour marked the first time the brothers had shared a stage since Oasis split in 2009, with the comeback becoming one of the biggest concert events of recent years.
The band’s catalogue — including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Supersonic — remains among the defining soundtrack of the Britpop era, while their albums (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe continue to rank among Britain’s most celebrated albums.
Oasis’ reunion tour sold more than two million tickets worldwide and generated renewed global interest in the band.
The Sun also reported the group is expected to announce additional live dates in September, extending the band’s comeback into 2027.
While there remains hope the Hall of Fame ceremony could feature a performance from the reunited line-up, organisers have not confirmed whether the musicians will take to the stage together.
