A few days ago, there were reports that Kiara Advani has decided to step back from Don 3. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, it stars Ranveer Singh in the titular role. After Ranveer, Kiara joined the cast and was reportedly going to play Mona. However, after her pregnancy announcement, the actress decided to focus on her personal life. Since then, fans have been wondering who will be cast as the female lead.
On Reddit, fans are discussing and debating who amongst Kriti Sanon and Sharvari should be the next lead. One person wrote, “Wasn’t Kriti Sanon in the running before Kiara was finalised ? She must be very happy OR let’s see if Sharvari swoops in for this.” Another person commented, “Farhan-ranveer had rejected kriti for kiara . So now that kiara walked out, I doubt they’d go back to the person they rejected in the first place and even if they do I don’t think Kriti’s going to accept it.”
One more comment reads, “get kriti in with a bigger paycheck and more screen time than ranveer. kriti is the real don in the movie.” A Redditor commented, “Sharvari would be a great choice.” “Kiara wasn’t the reason for the BO run though ! Kiara is easily replaceable, at least Kriti made an impact with Mimi, a national award winning performance and Do patti as a producer,” reads one more comment.

Meanwhile, the first two Don movies by Farhan Akhtar featured Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. When Ranveer Singh was announced as the new Don, netizens had mixed reactions. It would be interesting to see who would play the female lead in the movie.
