Nicole Kidman has unveiled her date to the upcoming Met Gala following her split from Keith Urban.
The 58-year-old actress, who recently broke her silence on her shock divorce from the singer, opened up about the topic during Friday’s episode of the Las Culturistas podcast.
Last year in September, the Oscar winner and Urban’s separation came to light following 19 years of marriage – with the divorce being officially finalized in January.
‘And this is – I think it’s the third time I’ve co-chaired – but to do it now?’ Kidman expressed, before sharing that she will be accompanied by daughter Sunday Rose, 17.
‘I’m so, so happy, and my daughter Sunday will be coming,’ she said, adding that the teen ‘loves fashion.’
‘She’s actually just walked the Dior show. Yeah, she’s flying back from Paris now,’ the Hollywood star proudly gushed.

The Babygirl actress shares Sunday Rose as well as Faith Margaret, 15, with Urban.
She is also mom to Bella, 33, and Connor, 31, whom she adopted while married to ex Tom Cruise.
Sunday Rose has been pursuing her love for the fashion industry by walking the runway for brands such as Dior, Miu Miu and Calvin Klein.
The teenager recently called her famous mother her ‘biggest inspiration in life’ while recently talking to Elle Australia.
‘I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age.’
She added that the award-winning actress has been ‘a key part of everything I do’ before saying that Kidman ‘is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life.’
Sunday Rose explained that growing up with parents who both work in the entertainment industry helped inspire her to also follow her dreams.
‘Something that’s always been followed in my house is doing, not just saying. It basically means that if you say you’re going to do something, stick to your word and do it.’

The teen added, ‘Don’t just talk about how much you want to, but actually put your mind to it and get it done.’
Sunday Rose – who will turn 18 later this year in July – also disclosed the advice her mother gave to her.
‘The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time,’ she told Elle.
Kidman is no stranger when it comes to the Met Gala – which is held every first Monday in May in New York City.
The actress has been named one of the co-chairs at this year’s star-studded event alongside Beyonce and Venus Williams. The 2026 theme is Costume Art, while the dress code is Fashion is Art.
Last year, Kidman wowed in a strapless black dress that contained a drop down waist and full skirt that stopped just above her ankles.
The star made an appearance solo, but had previously been joined by ex-husband Urban on the red carpet.

Kidman also attended the Met Gala years earlier in 2003 and 2005 – when she had also been named a co-chair at the time.
Last year in September, it was revealed that the actress and Urban had split after 19 years of marriage.
It came after the pair had hit a rocky path in summer 2025, with the separation being a reportedly a long-term development, according to Daily Mail sources.
Not long after ringing in the new year, the former couple reached a settlement agreement to finalize the divorce.
During an interview with Variety this week, Kidman opened up about the divorce and shared how she is now ‘moving forward.’
‘What I’m grateful for is my family, and keeping them as is, and moving forward. That’s that.’
The Big Little Lies star added, ‘I’m staying in a place of, “We are a family,” and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.’
When questioned if she was ‘doing all right’ after the split, the actress replied, ‘I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good.’
