“Love Island USA” fans were outraged after the voting app glitched while they were trying to submit their first votes for Season 8.

After episode seven of the reality show aired, voting was opened for fans to choose who the new Bombshells — Sol, Jen, and Caleb — should couple up with.

However, when excited fans went to vote, some were met with an “error” message before taking to social media to share their frustrations with the app.

“‘love island usa’ app down??? this is voter suppression,” tweeted one user.

“‘Love Island USA’ staff fr yall better extend the vote or something cause people need to sleep and your app is STILL down. Yall definitely have the budget to upgrade the app or something chile. This is ridiculous,” added another.

“this f–k ass ‘love island’ app playing with me, i’ve been registered for DAYS now they kicked me out suddenly soon as voting opened and won’t let me register OMFG,” complained a third person.

“‘Love Island’ is one of the biggest reality TV shows in the world, and they can’t ever get their freaking app right when it comes to voting. Very unfortunate, and I’m not about to deal with that this year,” wrote a fourth netizen.

A fifth fan joked, “What is Zohran Mamdani’s plan to fix the ‘love island’ app,” referring to the current mayor of New York City.

Early Wednesday morning, the official X account of the hit Peacock reality show tweeted an apology to its fans.

“For those of you experiencing issues registering to vote, we apologize for the inconvenience. Our team is actively working on it. Stay tuned for updates. #LoveIslandUSA,” they wrote.

Hours later, the network announced on X that the app crashed due to fans’ “overwhelming enthusiasm for America’s first vote.” However, voting had been extended until 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT on Wednesday.

“Love Island USA” airs every day except Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
