Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes introduced a new member to their family recently.

Mendes, 52, took to Instagram on Friday to announce that she and her longtime partner adopted a rescue dog named Charlie.

She shared photos of their newest family member playing outside with their other dog Magic in the grass.

Mendes also included a short clip of her wearing a light blue summer dress as she cuddled with the two precious pooches.

‘Introducing Charlie, our newest member of our familia. We’re in love!’ she wrote in her caption.

Her latest post comes after she called out a social media user for sharing an AI-generated picture of her husband, 45.

In her post introducing the new family dog, Mendes tagged California Doodle Rescue, and the organization left a comment saying that the two dogs ‘have the best parents in town.’

Mendes and Gosling share daughters Esmeralda Amada, 11, and Amada Lee, 10.

Gosling, who famously does not have an Instagram account, and their two children, both of whom the couple keep out of the spotlight, did not appear in her post.

The longtime couple have been together since they met on the set of their 2012 drama film The Place Beyond the Pines.

In the movie, the pair portrayed onscreen lovers with a complex family dynamic.

Reflecting on their time filming together, Gosling once said: ‘There were moments on this film where we were pretending to be a family, and I didn’t really want it to be pretend anymore.’

The couple revealed they brought home their new rescue dog just shortly after it was revealed that Gosling was casted to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In late July, the actor made an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con to announce that he would be starring as Ghost Rider in the upcoming, titular film from the franchise.

Ghost Rider, also known as Johnny Blaze, is a fiery, motorcycle-riding antihero last portrayed by Nicolas Cage.

Mendes starred opposite Cage in the 2007 Ghost Rider film but did not appear in the 2012 sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

On July 26, just one day after the announcement, Mendes took to social media to show her support of Gosling’s next project.

On Instagram, she reposted a fan’s edit of Gosling from a scene in The Place Beyond the Pines showing him riding into town on a motorcycle.

Alongside the post, Mendes wrote, ‘Love, Roxy,’ as she referenced the character she played in the original Ghost Rider film released nearly two decades ago.
