“Big Brother” contestant Mickey Lee has been hospitalized in “critical condition” after going into “cardiac arrest.”
“Today, we’re coming together with heavy hearts to ask for your support,” a GoFundMe page dedicated to the Season 27 alum read.
“Mickey recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition.”
According to the page organizer, Kori Smith, Lee, 35, “has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.”
Smith explained the “sudden health crisis” has resulted in Lee “and her family facing enormous emotional and financial strain from mounting hospital bills to ongoing care and recovery cost.”
The fundraiser seeks to cover medical care not covered by insurance, specialist care, recovery support and travel and lodging for family members.
“Mickey has touched so many lives through her courage, bold personality, and unforgettable presence on Big Brother,” Smith added.
“Let’s show her the same love and support now when she needs it most.”
Additionally, Smith described Lee “as an event curator and creative force” who “brought charm and fierce competition to the Big Brother house.”
The fundraising page had raised more than $9,706 of the $13,000 goal as of Monday.
Lee was on the latest season of “Big Brother,” which ran from July to September.
The competition series consists of a group of people, referred to as “house guests,” living together and navigating power, conflicts and alliances to avoid eviction.
The TV personality’s co-stars wished her a smooth recovery, with Jimmy Heagerty commenting on an Instagram post, “Praying for an easy and smooth recovery.”
“Prayers Mickey 🙏🙏🙏 thinking about you and your family,” Rachel Reilly added.
The last time Lee was active on social media was last week when she promoted a new iHeartPodcasts episode.
