David ‘Kochie’ Koch has revealed he has become a grandfather for the 10th time.
The former Sunrise host, 69, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the jovial news that his son AJ and his wife Carolina Flores had welcomed their second child.
He confirmed the couple had given birth to a daughter named Valentina Rose Koch by sharing an adorable image of the newborn.
‘A big welcome to grandchild Valentina Rose Koch. And there is no truth to the rumour she was named after her parent’s favourite hot sauce,’ he wrote.
‘And so wonderful her Mexican grandparents, Pepe and Laura, are in Australia for the birth.
‘Libby and I toasted the birth in Marrakech at Aussie owned Plus61… which provided a great break from all the tagines we’ve eaten.’

AJ welcomed his first child – a daughter called Catalina May – with his wife Carolina in 2021.
The couple tied the knot in Mexico back in 2019.
As well as AJ, David and Libby also share daughters Brianna, Georgie and Samantha.
His youngest daughter Georgie welcomed her first child – Kochie’s ninth grandchild – in October last year.
Georgie and her husband Alex Merkel, who live in London, welcomed a daughter named Heidi.
David shared an adorable picture of his wife Libby meeting their ninth grandchild for the first time in London in the heartfelt post.
He gushed in a caption: ‘When Libby meets Heidi… grandchild #9… in London for the first time. First child for Georgie and Alex.’
David confirmed his youngest daughter was expecting her first child live on The Morning Show back in April last year.
‘A big welcome to grandchild Valentina Rose Koch. And there is no truth to the rumour she was named after her parent’s favourite hot sauce,’ he joked alongside a photo of the newborn with the sauce

He told hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies at the time: ‘Georgie is expecting her first child, she lives in London at the moment.
‘Lib and I are off to London to visit her and on Monday – we are going to the ultrasound appointment. She is 24/25 weeks.’
David also gave an insight into his very sweet family tradition as he revealed the item he will be buying for Georgie during his London visit.
He shared: ‘We have a family tradition, we buy the first pram for each of the families. ‘(We’re) very excited. It’s number nine for us.’
